How We Handle Your Junk & Rubbish Items Being Disposed Of
Some of the items we pick up aren’t really junk. Many of the furniture items, in particular, may be in good condition and donatable to a local charity. And, of course, if they are not donatable, we determine if they are recyclable. If not recyclable they go to the local dump.
We work hard to make sure items end up in the right place, and where possible find a new home. Items in good condition can often be passed on to a local charity where they will try to find a new home for them.
Items not donatable or recyclable are disposed of at the local dump.
1. Donated
Items that are still usable are donated to a local charity if possible. This way they find new life with a new owner.
2. RECYCLED
Where not donatable, we assess items carefully to make sure recyclable items are taken to a local recycling centre.
3. Disposed Of
Where items are neither donatable or recyclable at a recycling centre, they are disposed of at the local dump.
